Robertas Čipkus starts as CFO in Sweden
From 10th of April, Robertas Čipkus starts to lead Euroapotheca’s owned Apoteksgruppen’s finance department as the new CFO in Sweden. The Swedish pharmacy chain currently unites 192 pharmacies in Sweden: 157 owned and 32 franchisees, using Apoteksgruppen brand name.
As it was announced earlier last month, Robertas Čipkus starts his activities in Sweden together with the new CEO of Apoteksgruppen Sara Mohammar who has been appointed as the new CEO of Apoteksgruppen from 10th of April after Tony Johansson has decided to leave his position and the Euroapotheca group.
Robertas Čipkus, who joined the Euroapotheca management team in March, has over 20 years of experience in finance and retail management. Robertas joined Vilniaus Prekyba Group four years ago and has during that time worked for Maxima Grupė and for other affiliates of Vilniaus Prekyba.

At the beginning of 2018, Euroapotheca acquired Apoteksgruppen from the Swedish state and private owners of franchise pharmacies. Since then, Apoteksgruppen has undergone a successful transformation from 114 independent entities to an integrated pharmacy chain and now enters a new stage of business development in Sweden as well as integration within the Euroapotheca group.
